Walpole Dance Center News
Our performances are professionally videotaped in high definition by Pro Video Production Company. They have been videotaping our shows for the past 16 years! Why not order a copy of your dancers performance as a permanent keepsake?
Walpole Dance Center will be handling all of the orders for Pro Video Productions. Order forms are now available in the office. Payment is due when pre-ordering, and checks can be made out to Walpole Dance Center. The videos will be sent to the studio approximately 2 weeks after the recital.
Our recitals are taped by Performance Video Productions. If you would like to order a dvd, please click here.
Recital information is now available on our website. Please visit the recital page for all information on recitals, dress rehearsals, tickets, picture day, etc.
Your February invoice will reflect the monthly tuition, costume deposit credits and the balance due on the costumes. Costume balances are due by April 1st.
Costume Deposits Are Due
If you have yet to send in a deposit, $ 35.00 per child, per costume, please do so as soon as possible. All costumes have been ordered. Your costume balance will be reflected on February’s invoice.
Peek Week – February 8-13th
Our next parent observation week will begin on Monday, February 8th. Please remember that due to space and number of students in class, we can only accommodate parents and grandparents to observe. We ask that parents make other arrangements for infants and toddlers, as they can be very distracting when students are trying to do their best.
Studio closes February 15th and reopens for classes on Monday, February 22nd.
Recital Date – June 11, 2016
Two recital performances will be on Saturday, June 11th. Students ages 3 to grade three will perform on that Saturday afternoon, older students in the evening. Dress rehearsal days and times must be finalized with King Philip High School.
Our “Dollars for our Dancers” fundraiser has been quite successful over the years. This year we would like to make a different request. We will be raising money for the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society for Katie Pritchard’s team. We appreciate your thoughtfulness during the holidays, but in lieu of gifts to the faculty, we ask that you consider contributing to Katie’s “Purple Pirates” LLS team. We will have a collection jar in the office for anyone wishing to contribute.
COSTUME DEPOSITS ARE DUE BY JANUARY 8th
We are already in the planning stages for our recital. We’ll be choosing music and costumes very soon and as always, we carefully choose costumes that fit the specific routine and that are age appropriate. A deposit of $35.00 per student, per costume is required to process all orders. The balance of the costume will be billed at a later date. Students age 3 to grade 2 will require one deposit. Please let us know if your child will not be performing in June’s recital. Costume orders cannot be canceled or returned. We will be measuring the students for costumes during our Christmas parties.
RECITAL DATE: JUNE 11, 2016 DRESS REHEARSAL DATES: JUNE 8 & 10, 2016
The studio will close after classes on Tuesday, December 22, and resume the regular schedule on January 4th. We will have our traditional holiday parties for our dancers during regular class time beginning on Wednesday, December 16th. A small donation of baked goods would be appreciated. If your child has a food allergy, please let us know!
WEATHER RELATED CLOSINGS
In the event of snow storms, call the studio for a recorded message regarding class cancellations or visit our facebook page. We don’t automatically cancel if Walpole schools close.
